Setting up your mail client
If you are using Outlook or Outlook Express 5 or 6 then first
try the following settings
Outlook Express Tools / Accounts / Add / Mail
Display Name is your Full Name
Click on I already have a Email Address enter it as EG sbillett@croftonite.co.uk
Click Next
Incoming mail server is POP3
Incoming mail = pop3.croftonite.co.uk ( if this fails change to
81.187.43.238)
Outgoing mail = smtp.croftonite.co.uk ( if this fails change to
81.187.43.238
)
Account name is your full email address EG sbillett@croftonite.co.uk
password - as your where advised by Croftonite
Click Next/ Finish You should now see a mail account
called either pop3.croftonite.co.uk or
81.187.43.238
Select it & click on Properties
Change the Mail Account Name to Croftonite in the general tab
Select Servers
Tick on Outgoing server requires authentication
Click on OK Outlook
Tools/Services/Add/Internet Mail/OK
Then follow as for Outlook Express.
